Conditions which permit one to break the fast

Fear of disease to worsen or death
A person suddenly experienced such a sickness that if he did not break his fast, he would die or his sickness would worsen, in that case it is permissible to break the fast. For example, a person felt sever pain in his stomach and became extremely restless, or he was bitten by a snake, in such instances it is permissible to take some medicines and break fast. Similarly if he feels so extremely thirsty that his life is in danger, it is permissible to break the fast in this case too.

Ruling:- If a pregnant woman encounters certain difficulty and fears for her or her child's life, it is permissible to break the fast.

Ruling:- If a person felt extremely thirsty due to any hard work and became so much restless that his life is in danger, it is permissible to break the fast. However, if he worked hard intentionally putting himself in such a state, he sinned.
